The Wilson In-Building Wireless Cellular 65 dB Amplifier (801365) is the most powerful amplifier offered by Wilson Electronics; the 65dB of gain can can be used to cover a large area, or can compensate for very weak donor signal in areas with particularly poor signal. When combined with antennas and cables to form a complete kit, the Wilson Electronics 801165 Amplifier can cover areas up to 10,000 sq ft. An additional pre-amplifier can increase the coverage area to 15,000 sq ft. |

The external donor antenna is placed in the area of best signal (usually outside, or on top of the building). This antenna collects cellular signal and sends it through a cable to the amplifier. The Wilson 801365 amplifier boosts the signal, and then sends the amplified signal through a cable to the indoor antenna. The total coverage area depends on the donor signal strength and the antennas (and any pre-amplifiers) used. The Wilson 801365 amplifier can be used by up to 15 phones or data cards simultaneously.
